Labor Doula, Postpartum Doula, Certified Hypnobabies Child birth Educator, Certified Hypno Doula

I love being a Doula. For me, being part of the birthing experience is powerful and sacred. I delight in getting to know each woman I serve and learning her individual needs and desires surrounding her birthing experience.

I’ve been a practicing Doula for 6 years and I’m trained in Labor and Postpartum support. I provide support for all kinds of births.
Providing a comfortable, supported, empowering birth experience is my primary objective. I always take the time to go over each woman’s hopes and fears for her birth. Together we make goals, practice comfort techniques and prepare for each eventuality. I make sure to answer any questions with balanced, fair, and well-researched information and to make sure that each issue is addressed in the way that is the very best for each woman and her growing family.

I also teach Hypnobabies childbirth education classes. Check our our Hypnobabies page for more information!

Labor Doula, Certified Hypnobabies Child Birth Educator, Certified Hypno Doula, Placenta Encapsulation

I have a passion for childbirth! I just love it! I have four beautiful babies who all have very different births that each taught me so much. After the birth of my first baby I just knew that there had to be a better way, we have been doing this for centuries! This is when I felt the call to become a Doula and decided to become trained through DONA. I have been supporting families as a Doula for six years. We are a military family, and move often, I have served families in Southern California, North Carolina, back to California, and now we have recently moved to Utah! After having two beautiful, but very different, Hypnobabies births I decided to become a Certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Educator and Hypno Doula. I have enjoyed teaching Hypnobabies and supporting families as a Hypno Doula for about two years. Just over a year ago I had my fourth baby and third Hypno-baby, this birth went far from what I hoped for and I am learning how to blossom from it. With the different births I have had, I feel very capable of supporting families through any kind of journey they are taken on. I am also now working on becoming Certified in Placenta Encapsulation through IPPA.

Supporting women during their birthing time and guiding them through the threshold and fulfilling their destiny of becoming a mother is an absolute honor. I love being able to help couples connect during this very special time and I believe this helps both mother and partner connect on a stronger level. Birth is truly when I have witnessed the most courage, power, strength, passion, and a transformation in these beautiful women and their bodies. Ina May Gaskin said, "Whenever and however you give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body, and your spirit for the rest of your life." I know this to be true and I am ready and excited to help families here in Utah have beautiful experiences.
